The Production Team at New Hope is a vibrant, high energy, and mission critical part of what New Hope does on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Our mission is to use technology to create distraction free environments in order to lead people into worship and help them focus on the message of the gospel. We are committed to supporting the church and the vision of our leadership in order to make Jesus known.
Each member of the Production Team is someone committed to learning and doing everything they can with excellence (not perfection!!) and a humble spirit. We never expect you to know everything when you join the team- we encourage you to learn and grow as you serve. When serving on any team at New Hope, we expect you to adhere to our core values as a church which are listed below.
Each role on the Production Team is considered an art form, requiring a unique set of skills and understanding. We will provide you with all the necessary training and guidelines for your role, and we expect you to execute your duties to the best of your ability. This includes remaining attentive and holding yourself accountable throughout the service. This looks like taking pride in what you do, making sure to continually pursue knowledge of your craft. We are a team that is always learning and growing together. Remember, this isn't about perfection – it's about giving our best to God because He deserves nothing less.
As members of a team, it is not only important but also our responsibility to ensure that the team is running smoothly. This is a shared responsibility that falls on all of us. If you notice something that someone is doing that is incorrect, could be improved, or could be done differently, we ask that you speak up and provide constructive feedback, with permission. It is only through open and honest communication that we can identify and address any issues, and it is only by providing feedback that we can help each other grow and improve. This includes not only pointing out areas for improvement, but also highlighting the things that your teammates are doing well. By taking an active role in supporting and uplifting each other, we can work together to create a strong and cohesive team. When giving feedback, always ask permission to give feedback. This ensures that the person you are giving feedback to is in the right place mentally to receive it.
